How does the Micromed Silver Care Towel work?

Silver ions are incorporated into the microfiber of the towel. Due to the oligodynamic effect of silver, they block enzymes that maintain bacterial energy metabolism, damage bacterial membranes and interfere with the genetic processes of microorganisms.

The result: Up to 99.97% of bacteria, yeasts and fungi are eliminated, including dangerous E. coli bacteria. The silver ions are permanently fixed in the towel and cannot be washed out by machine washing.

Application & Period of Effectiveness

How to use the silver care towel:

• After bathing or walking, gently dab the fur. No rubbing necessary.
• The towel absorbs moisture without pressure. This is gentle on skin and fur.
• Then rinse and preferably air dry.
• Wash the silver care towel regularly at 30 to 60 °C without fabric softener.

When is an effect visible?

The antibacterial effect sets in immediately. Pet odor is significantly reduced after the first application.
