How does the Micromed Silver Care Towel work?

Silver ions are incorporated into the microfiber of the towel. Through the oligodynamic effect of silver, they block enzymes that sustain bacterial energy metabolism, damage bacterial membranes, and interfere with the genetic processes of microorganisms.
